Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her daughter Saima Wazed shared a special moment on Sunday, enjoying a "quick bite" at a hotel in New Delhi.

The occasion took place just before they were scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Saima Wazed, also the Regional Director of WHO South-East Asia Region, took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a photo of the meal with her mother. The caption read, "A quick bite with Ma, ahead of Prime Minister @narendramodi's inauguration in #Delhi later today (Sunday)."

The post quickly gained attention, highlighting the close bond between the Prime Minister and her daughter amidst their busy schedules. The candid photo showed the duo in a relaxed setting, adding a personal touch to their official visit to India.The swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Modi marks a significant event, and Hasina's presence signifies the continued collaboration and friendship between the two neighbouring countries.

Bangladesh's Prime Minister arrived in New Delhi on Saturday to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Modi cabinet.

She is expected to leave the Indian capital for Dhaka this afternoon.
