Plaintiff in trouble after filing case against Jubo Dal leader for breaking house at night

The plaintiff in the case has filed a case against Gulishakhali Union Jubo Dal joint convener Malay Chandra Palash and his terrorist group Zakir Matubbar for breaking into a house at night in Amtoli, Barguna.
 
 The accused are threatening to kill him and his family if the case is not withdrawn. He made this complaint on Friday afternoon. The plaintiff in the case has demanded that he be arrested immediately and brought to justice.
 
It is learnt  that Zakir Matubbar of Uttar Kalagachhia village of Amtoli upazila received one acre of land from the government in 2001. He has been living on that land for the past 24 years. After the fall of Sheikh Hasina, on August 7 last year, Gulishakhali Union Jubo Dal joint convener Malay Chandra Palash cut down various species of trees worth at least 8 lakh taka from that house. In this incident, on December 5 last year, Zakir filed a case against 13 people in the Barguna Speedy Trial Court, making Malay Chandra Palash the main accused. Malay was in jail for some time in that case. Later, he was released on bail on the condition of compromise. On the night of August 16, Malay Chandra Palash and his terrorist group took the people in that house hostage at gunpoint and broke into Zakir Matubbar's house. In this incident, the victim Zakir Matubbar filed a case against six people with Amtali Police Station on Sunday, making Malay Chandra Palash the main accused.
 
Zakir, the plaintiff in the case, alleged that he was in trouble by filing the case. The accused, Mayal Chandra Palash and his associates are pressuring him to withdraw the case. If the case is not withdrawn, they will kill him and his family. He and his family are suffering from insecurity due to their fear. Zakir Matubbar, the plaintiff in the case, has demanded that the accused be arrested immediately and brought to justice.
 
Razia Begum, the wife of the plaintiff in the case, said that since the case, strangers have been roaming around the house. I do not have the courage to leave the house due to fear.
 
Gulishakhali Union Jubo Dal joint convener Malay Chandra Palash said on his mobile phone, I did not threaten anyone with death. False charges have been brought against me.
 
Amtali Police Station OC Dewan Jaglul Hasan said,  efforts are ongoing to arrest the accused. Those involved will be arrested as soon as possible.
