Payra Port operating its activities successfully during current situation

Operational activities of Payra Port are active even in the current situation.
Goods clearance is going on at the outer and inner jetties. However, 42 Navy personnel including 48 own security personnel and 50 Ansar members are working for the security of the Port.
Abdullah Al Mamun Chowdhury, Chairman of Payra Port said, a ship MV Anti Guni Force will arrive at the port with 24,000 metric tons of coal.
Besides, 12 ships arrived at Payra Port in July and August. 5 foreign ships have arrived so far. Tk 40 cr revenue has been earned. Capital dredging of the port has already been completed. Now if the maintenance dredging is done it will be possible to run the port operations successfully.
