Passport DC’s Embassy Tour 2025 held at Bangladesh Embassy in Washington

The Bangladesh Embassy i in Washington, D.C. hosted an "Open House" event on Saturday as part of the 'Passport DC’s Embassy Tour 2025 ' says a press release. '
Several stalls showcasing traditional Bangladeshi handicrafts, including Jamdani and Tangail sarees, were set up in the embassy's auditorium.
Visitors enthusiastically collected posters, leaflets, and books highlighting the history of Bangladesh’s independence, the Language Movement, and the country’s rich culture, heritage, and tourist attractions.
Embassy officials, staff, and their children captivated the audience with patriotic songs and dances.
Throughout the day, around 3,000 visitors from various states came to enjoy the event at the Bangladesh Embassy. On the occasion, traditional Bangladeshi food was also displayed and served to the guests.
