Pabna ex-extremist leader hacked dead

A former leader of an extremist group was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in Pabna's Santhia upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Bakul Islam, 45, son of Rowshan Ali, a resident of Rauti village under Dhopadaha union.
Santhia Police Station OC Saidur Rahman said the attackers confronted Bakul while he was returning home around 9:30PM after delivering paddy on a horse cart to a local Jalal Master.
The attackers hacked him, leaving him dead on the spot, the OC said, adding that the body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
