Orientation of new students held at BIUST

Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), Cumilla has held an orientation program for the fresh students of the Bachelor (Honours) program of the fall-2025 session.
The orientation program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran on Tuesday.at 09:30 am.
At the beginning of the program, the welcome speech was delivered by the Treasurer of BIUST, Colonel Mohammad Iftekharul Haque, PSC (Retd) and the Director of IQAC and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof Dr. Md. Tahidur Rahman.
The Vice Chancellor of BIUST, Brigadier General Mohammad Noor Hossain, BSP, PSC, was present as the chief guest.
The chief guest welcomed the new students and delivered a guiding speech. In his speech, he highlighted the activities of BYUST in the past, its current capabilities and future plans. He also highlighted the various facilities of the university to the new students in his speech.
The orientation program was attended by the Controller of Examinations of BIUST Lt. Col. Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui (Retd.), Registrar Lt. Col. Khandaker Mahmud Hossain, SPP, PSC (Retd.), Deans of various faculties, Heads of Departments, teachers, senior officials of various departments and new students. In the second phase of the orientation program, a delightful cultural program was organized by the BIUST Cultural Club.
