Nominations of 7 people including MP BM Harun, Monir cancelled in Jhalakati

The candidates who filed their candidature at 11 am on Sunday are independent candidate Moniruzzaman Monir, Mohammad Ismail, Barrister Fakhrul Islam, Noore Alam, Mojibur Rahman Mridha, Jatiya Party nominee Ejazul Haque in Jhalkathi-1 (Rajapur-Kathalia) Constituency.

Independent candidates have to submit the signatures of one percent of the voters of the parliamentary constituency along with the nomination papers.

It is to be noted that Bajlul Haque Haroon, Member of Parliament of Jhalkathi-01 (Rajapur-Kantalia) constituency was nominated by Awami League, but it was changed to BNP Vice-Chairman (expelled) and former State Minister for Law Barrister Shahjahan Omar Bir Uttam by party President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
