Nomination papers of 5 candidates of Islami Andolon in collected in Jashore

Islami Andolon.has started actively entering the field in Jessore as it moves towards the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.
 
 The candidates for five of the Islami Andolon's six constituencies began their electoral journey by collecting nomination papers on Thursday.
 
The Jashore  Deputy Commissioner's office witnessed the entry of the candidates in the afternoon. The candidate for Sharsha-Benapole constituency was Upazila Vice-President Alhaj Baktiar Rahman, the candidate for Sadar constituency was Central Industry and Commerce Affairs Secretary Mao Shoaib Hossain, the candidate for Abhaynagar-Bagharpara constituency was Advocate Baijit Hossain, the candidate for Manirampur constituency was Upazila Branch Advisor Joynal Abedin Tipu, and the candidate for Keshabpur constituency was District Co-Organizing Secretary and General Secretary of the Workers' Movement Gazi Shahidul Islam, who directly collected the nomination papers.
 
After receiving the nomination papers, the candidates told reporters that they hope the election will be fair and just through a level playing field. The candidates also said that adequate measures will be taken to ensure the safety of voters and a festive election environment. Joynal Abedin Tipu said, “We have to ensure that the voters can vote without any hindrance.”
 
Candidates directly met voters in villages of Monirampur, Bagharpara and Sharsha regions. Villagers held large gatherings to welcome the candidates at various markets, union offices and main roads. Elderly voter Abdul Karim said, “The candidates are coming and talking to us, we want peaceful elections. It has been many years since we saw a festive atmosphere in the villages.”
 
Banners in the hands of children, motorcycle processions of youth, the hustle and bustle of local businessmen — all in all, the election scene in the villages is like a small festival. In the markets of Sharsha and Keshabpur, candidates have directly connected with the people, voters are asking them questions, candidates are highlighting their plans and promises.
 
Political analysts believe that this move by the Islamic Movement will make the electoral picture more exciting. Specially since the party's presence will have an impact on the electoral equation, as it has confirmed the nomination of candidates in five out of the six seats in Jessore.
 
Candidates are trying to convey the message of peaceful elections to voters. They expressed hope that voters will cast their votes in a festive atmosphere and actively participate in the country's democratic proces
