Noakhali-3, 4 seats : Nominations of Major (Retd) Mannan, Mamunur Rashid Kiran cancelled

The District Returning Officer has announced the cancellation of the nomination papers of Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan, General Secretary of Bikalpadara for Noakhali-4 (Sadar-Subarnachar) constituency, and Mamunur Rashid Kiran, nominee of Awami League and the current MP in Noakhali-3 (Begumganj constituency).
On Sunday (December 3) at around 1:00 PM in the meeting room of the Noakhali Deputy Commissioner, after the scrutiny of the nomination papers of the Noakhali-4 constituency, the nomination papers of the central leader of Alternative Bangladesh Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan were declared cancelled.
On the other hand, after checking the nomination papers of Noakhali-3 seat at around 2 pm, the district returning officer announced the cancellation of the nomination papers of Awami League nominee and current MP Mamunur Rashid Kiran.
Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer Dewan Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the matter.
