
Nilphamari Jamaat's memo with 5-point demands including election in PR system

On the basis of the July National Charter, Jamaat-e-Islami Nilphamari District Branch has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Adviser through the Deputy Commissioner demanding a national election next February along with five other demands.
Under the leadership of District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Principal Abdus Sattar, a delegation of the district Jamaat handed over the memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Nayiruzzaman on Sunday at 11 am.
Present at the time were District Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. Khairul Anam, District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Ataul Islam, Jamaat nominated candidate for Nilphamari-2 constituency and District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Advocate Al Faruk Abdul Latif, District Jamaat Assistant Secretary and City Ameer Professor Anayarul Islam, District Jamaat Executive Member Freedom Fighter Moniruzzaman Mintu, Lecturer Sader Hasan and Lecturer Abdul Kadim, Sadar Upazila Ameer Abu Hanifa Shah along with the Ameers of Domar, Dimla, Jaldhaka, Kishoreganj and Saidpur upazilas.
After submitting the memorandum, District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Principal Abdus Sattar delivered a brief speech in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Earlier, Jamaat leaders and activists marched from the district Jamaat office to the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
