Next election will be 100 pc neutral: Home Adviser

In his speech as the chief guest at the 100th annual sports competition of Ichhapura Government Model High School in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj on Monday afternoon, Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) said that Operation Devil Hunt will continue as long as the devil exists.
He also said that education has expanded but the quality of education has not increased, addressing the students, teachers must be respected and students must stand up against corruption, and that the presiding officer or assistant presiding officer will have no role in the next election.
This will be a 100% neutral election. No one will get any kind of advantage in this election.
He also said that politicians do not want to respect teachers. Politicians only go after them when elections come. The school's headmaster Md. Jamal Hossain Mia presided over the meeting, and Munshiganj District Police Superintendent Muhammad Shamsul Alam Sarkar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ataul Gani Osmani, Upazila Executive Officer Shahina Akhter, Bikrampur Kunj Bihari Government College Professor Dr. Rasmoy Kirtani, International Farakka Dam Committee Chairman Syed Tipu Sultan, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sirajdikhan Circle) A.N.M Imran Khan were present.
Former Upazila BNP President Abdul Quddus Dhiras, guardians of the students and dignitaries were also present.
