New UNO in Nakla receives floral welcome greetings

Md Jahangir Alam newly appointed UNO of Nakla was welcomed with floral greetings during courtesy visits from various organizations.
As part of this initiative, leaders of the Upazila Government Employees Welfare Association and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and among others met the new UNO at his office and participated in brief introductory and exchange meetings.
During the meeting, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sheikh Taki Tajwar, along with
Mostafizur Rahman Storekeeper-in-Charge of the Upazila Health Complex and General
Secretary Field Assistant of Palli Sanchay Bank Md Abdullah Al Momen led other members of
the association.
On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami district Shura member and Nakla Upazila Ameer Maulana
Golam Sarwar along with former Ameer and current office secretary Mufti Maulana Khademul Uslam and other responsible leaders from the Upazila, Municipality; Union-level Jamaat and affiliated organizations were also present.
Md Jahangir Alam has replaced outgoing UNO Deep Jan Mitra. Md Jahangir Alam is a 36th BCS (Administration) cadre officer; he began his career at the Sylhet Deputy Commissioner’s office in 2018. Later, he served as Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Mohanganj Upazila of Netrokona district.
In 2024 he was posted as Senior Assistant Commissioner (RDC) at the Jamalpur Deputy Commissioner’s office.
He also served briefly as Deputy Director at the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in Mymensingh.
