New deans appointed in 8 faculties of DU

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan appointed them as per Section 17(2) of the First Statute of Dhaka University Order, 1973 on Tuesday.
The newly- appointed deans are professors of Islamic history and culture department. Mohammad Chiddikur Rahman Khan (Faculty of Arts), Professor of Chemistry. Md. Abdus Salam (Faculty of Science), Professor of Law Department. Nakeeb Mohammad Nasrullah (Faculty of Law), Professor of Finance Department. Mahmud Osman Imam (Faculty of Business Studies), Professor of Biochemistry and Microbiology Department. Mamun Ahmed (Faculty of Biology), Professor of Science. Kazi Matin Uddin Ahmed (Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences), Professor of Computer Science and Engineering. Upma Kabir (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) and Professor of Pottery Department. Azharul Islam Sheikh (Faculty of Fine Arts).
