Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has commented that Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has “emerged as more dangerous than Hitler”. He said this at a press conference at Awami League President Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi on Tuesday.

He said: "Today, the entire world seems to be a battlefield. We witness echoes of Hitler's arrogance and belligerence from the Second World War resurfacing in global politics. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu mirrors the same disdain that led to the Holocaust, where 6 million Jews perished."
Quader further emphasized Netanyahu's disregard for international institutions, including the United Nations, and his defiance towards the White House.

He highlighted the alarming death toll, adding: "14,000 children have already lost their lives in Gaza."

Referring to recent events, Quader mentioned Israel's decision to attack Iran despite calls for restraint from influential nations like the United States. He expressed concerns over Netanyahu's seemingly unchecked authority, comparing it to Hitler's regime.

Regarding remarks made by the US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter Haas concerning Bangladesh's democracy index, Quader challenged the ambassador, asking how many steps back the United States had taken in the democracy index.
Quader also praised the prime minister's efforts in stabilizing commodity prices, attributing the improved economy to increased financial activities during Eid.

He noted the surge in transactions within the banking sector and emphasized the party's commitment to implementing the prime minister's directives.

Concluding his remarks, Quader expressed relief that people could resume work after the Eid celebrations.
