NBR Commissioner Mahbubur suspended for misconduct

The government has suspended National Board of Revenue’s Commissioner AKM Mahbubur Rahman temporarily on charge of misconduct.
A notification, signed by Md Abdur Rahman Khan, secretary to the Ministry of Finance, was issued in this regard on Monday.
Mahbubur was suspended following section 12 of the Employee Discipline and Appeal Rules-2018, reads it. He, however, will get all facilities during the suspension period.
The order will be effective soon, it added.
