Natore District Awami Swechchhasebak League President Dollar arrested

Advocate Ishtiaque Ahmed Dollar, President of Natore District Awami Sewchhasebak League and chairman of the Natore Thana Self-Reliant Cooperative Society (UCCA), was arrested by the police on Tuesday from his office in the Bongojjol area of Natore city.
Natore Sadar Thana OC Mahabur Rahman said, Ishtiaque Ahmed Dollar faces two cases under the laws related to murder and explosive substances. He was arrested in connection with these cases and sent to jail through the court. However, his wife, Asma Akter Bithi, claimed that her husband, Advocate Ishtiaque Ahmed Dollar, had no cases against him. She alleged that the police arrested him by retroactively naming him as an unidentified accused in two old cases.
