Sonargaon Police Station has arrested the owner of the hospital for allegedly killing an employee named Jahirul Islam at a private hospital in Mogarapara Chowrasta area of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj.

The incident took place at a clinic called Services General Hospital yesterday morning. After the incident, the relatives of the victims and the excited locals surrounded the hospital. Later, the police came and were able to calm the crowd.

It is learned that jahirul Islam, son of the deceased Abul Hossain of Kandargaon village of Pirojpur union of the upazila, was operating at the Pharmacy of Services General Hospital and Diagnostic Center on the second floor of Bhuiyaplaja in Mogarapara union of the upazila.

Due to the night shift, he arrived at the hospital from the house at 9pm last Tuesday. Then, at 9 pm, his wife Tahira Shabnam Zubaida called Shabnam Zubaida and told her to return home at 9pm while working at the hospital's pharmacy. His wife did not get her on the phone from the morning and searched for her.

As the hospital authorities could not give any accurate information, the wife and family members came to the hospital and found him lying dead in a room. During the meeting, family members called on the relatives of the police to seek the help of the police .

Zahirul Islam's wife Tahira Shabnam Zubaida said, "When I came to the hospital, I saw my husband's bloody body lying in a room." Hospital authorities have escaped the body of his wife, killing her husband,it is alleged.

When news of the death spread, Zahirul's relatives and locals demanded the arrest of those involved in Zahirul's death. The body was later recovered and sent to District Hospital for autopsy.

Sonargaon Police Station OC (Investigation) Ahsan Ullah said four people were arrested on the basis of the family's allegations. The body was recovered and sent to the District Hospital morgue for autopsy. The hospital's CC camera footage is being monitored in this regard. The case is under process.
