MP Dhalu distributes clothes to needy devotees during Durga festival in Naogaon

On the occasion of the Sharidya Durga festival, clothes were distributed among the helpless and distressed followers of traditional religion in Naogaon on behalf of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
Naogaon Sadar MP Jahidul Islam Dhalu will be present as the chief guest at the city's Sri Sri Burakali Mata Puja Mandap and the Par-Naogaon Alupatti Barwari Durga Puja premises at 11 am on Sunday.
He distributed clothes to about 1100 needy followers of traditional religion.
District BNP Organizing Secretary Shafiul Azam Rana, District Jubo Dal Convener Masud Haider Tipu, local BNP leaders and activists and people of traditional religion were present at the event.
Later, he visited the Sri Sri Burakali Mata Puja Mandap and the Par-Naogaon Alupatti Barwari Durga Puja Mandap.
The organizers said that this initiative has been taken as part of spreading the joy of the autumn Durga festival among everyone and exchanging greetings with followers of traditional religions.
