Motorcyclist killed in road mishap at Sitakundu

A motorcyclist named Mahfuzur Rahman (29) was killed after being hit by a covered van at Satkania on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway.
The accident took place on Saturday (November 16) at around 1 pm in the Maulvi shop area of the sub-district.
After completing his graduation from Dhaka University, the deceased Mahfuzur Rahman was working as a sales representative of a cigarette distributor in Satkania. His home is in Munshiganj district.
Dohazari Highway Police Station OC Shubo Ranjan Chakma said that the covered van driver fled after the accident. However, the covered van has been seized and kept at the police station. Legal action is under process in this incident.
