Motorcyclist killed in Rajshahi road crash

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed and his rider injured as a truck hit their motorbike on Rajshahi-Dhaka highway in Belpukur Thana of Rajshahi on Monday night.
The deceased was Md Sajib, son of Md Babu of Aloka Mor area of Rajshahi city while the injured was Md Prince,22, son of Shahaban Islam of Sapura BISIC area of the city.
The accident occurred around 10 pm when the truck hit the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, leaving them injured, said Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Belpukur police station.
They were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared Sajib dead on arrival, said the OC.
