A 8-member committee has been formed from Mokamtola Model Press Club of Shibganj, Bogura on Wednesday at 11 o'clock in the office of Mokamtola Model Press Club
A general meeting was held under the chairmanship of senior journalist Md. Rafiqul Islam on the occasion of the formation of the committee.
Shibganj Correspondent of Dainik Ajker patrika Khalid Hasan was unanimously nominated as president and Iftekhairul Islam Rana, Shibganj correspondent of Daily Manabzamin, as general secretary. Other members of the committee are Vice President Rafiqul Islam (Amar Sundar Desh), Joint General Secretary Minhaj Ali (Dainik Bogura), Office Secretary Harun Or Rashid Liton (Provater Alo), Treasurer Wasim Ahmed (Dhaka Times), Executive Member Sabit Hossain (Muktabarta) and Raihan Ali (Prottasha Protidin).
It was decided in the meeting that the term of the newly formed committee will be two years.
