Mobile court to keep rice market under control in Shibganj

The upazila administration has conducted a mobile court to keep the rice market bearable in Shibganj of Bogura.
On Wednesday afternoon, Shibganj Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Tahmina Akter conducted mobile courts in various auto rice mills and retail markets of the upazila.
Rabiul Auto Rice Mill authorities of Ganeshpur area of Mokamtala Union were fined Tk 3,000 for storing rice in plastic sacks instead of jute sacks during the operation.
Confirming the operation, Shibganj Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Tahmina Akter said that mobile courts have been conducted in various auto rice mills and retail markets of the upazila so that no one can increase the price of rice by showing artificial crisis.
Instructions have been given to the concerned to keep the market conditions bearable including rice prices. Upazila administration will continue this type of operation.
