Mir Shahe Alam becomes state minister from UP chairman

Mir Shahe Alam, MP from Bogura-2 (Shibganj) Constituency, is overflowing with joy in his constituency as he has been appointed state minister for the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives.
As soon as the news of his appointment spread, a festive atmosphere was created in the entire upazila. Supporters and activists expressed their excitement by distributing sweets and organizing various events. His political journey began from grassroots politics.
This politician, who became known for his leadership qualities at a young age, was elected chairman of Atmul Union Parishad as one of the youngest chairmen in the country in 1997 while he was the president of the Upazila Chhatra Dal at the age of just 23. Later, he served as chairman of Shibganj Upazila Parishad in 2009.
After winning a landslide victory in the recent national elections and being elected as a member of parliament, he took oath as state minister for the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives. The expectation among the common people that this new responsibility will open new horizons of development in the area has been strong.
Shibganj Upazila BNP Vice President Mahbub Alam Manik said, it is a matter of pride for the people of Shibganj that our MP Mir Shahe Alam has been given an important responsibility at the national level. He has been involved in the development of the area, strengthening the organization and public service activities for a long time. He expressed hope that his promotion will bring new momentum to development activities.
Upazila BNP General Secretary Adv Abdul Wahab said, the path to the speedy implementation of Shibganj's infrastructural and social development projects will be smoothed as a result of taking charge as a state minister - such an expectation is now expected by people from all walks of life. He has a plan to develop Shibganj in a new way through tourism and industrialization.
