Minister Afroza Khanam orders strict monitoring of ongoing dev projects in Manikganj

The Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, Afroza Khanam, MP, has issued strict directives for the close monitoring of all ongoing development projects in Manikganj to ensure quality and timely completion.

She made these remarks while attending a District Development Committee meeting held at the conference room of the Manikganj Deputy Commissioner's office on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Afroza Khanam stated, "I am working to realize the dreams of my father, the late Harunar Rashid Khan Munnu, for the development of Manikganj. I seek the cooperation of you all in changing the fortunes of the people of this district."

The Minister emphasized the responsibility of government officials, stating, "You must strengthen monitoring activities for the implementation of every development project. Progress reports for each project must be submitted on time. I am committed to resolving any issues you may face in this process."

She further added, "I want to reciprocate the love I have received from the people of Manikganj. I need the support of government employees in this endeavor."

Following the meeting, the Minister, in collaboration with the District Social Services Office, distributed cheques of BDT 50,000 each to 15 patients suffering from critical illnesses, including cancer, kidney failure, liver cirrhosis, stroke-induced paralysis, congenital heart disease, and thalassemia.
