Milk, eggs sell at affordable prices in Kapasia on Ramadan

The Kapasia Upazila Livestock Office of Gazipur has started selling milk and eggs at affordable prices throughout the month on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The program officially started on Sunday afternoon at the Livestock Office premises.
UNO Tamanna Tasneem inaugurated the sales program under the overall supervision of Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. AKM Atiqur Rahman. Among others, Upazila Veterinary Surgeon Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Deputy Assistant Community Medical Officer Belayet Hossain, Kapasia Press Club President FM Kamal Hossain, concerned farmers and people from various professions were present at the time.
From the first Ramadan, milk will be sold at affordable prices for 1 liter per person at 80 taka and eggs at one dozen per person at 114 taka. Authorities said that supply will be increased according to the demand of buyers.
