
Milestone tragedy: Candlelight vigil, moment of silence in memory of deceased in Cox's Bazar

Cultural activists held a candlelight vigil and observed a one-minute silence in memory of those who lost their lives when a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed into Milestone School and College in Dhaka.
The program was organized on Wednesday evening at the Central Shaheed Minar in Cox's Bazar under the banner of "We Are Cultural Activists, Cox's Bazar."
During the program, prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the departed souls and for such tragedies to never occur anywhere in the world.
Participants included journalist Shankar Barua Rumi, poet and advocate Riduan Ali, poet and journalist Nupa Alam, cultural figure Faisal Sakib, journalists Amirul Islam Rashed, Monir Mobarak, Aziz Uddin, Imran Faruk Onik, Ajay Majumder, Antik Chakraborty, Sheikh Maheara Pompi, Tanoy Das Shobuj, Rafayet Ruhan, and Mohaminullah Ranim, among others.
