Md Khairul Alam Sheikh new Secretary of Social Welfare Ministry

Md Khairul Alam Sheikh, Additional Secretary of Public Security Division of Ministry of Home Affairs has been promoted and posted as Secretary in the Social Welfare Department on Monday.
The Ministry of Public Administration has issued notification in this regard on the same day. He is the BCS 13 batch officer. After his promotion, he was posted as Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare.
He was in charge of the Political and ICT Division of the Public Security Division in Home Ministry.
Earlier in December 2021, Khairul Alam was appointed as the Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC).
At that time, he was the Additional Secretary of the Security Services Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Last year he was again transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs. He hailed from Faridpur district.
Recently, the Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare. Jahangir Alam has been transferred to the Health Services Division of the Health Ministry .
