Making accused in false case alkeged in Baralekha

Sonahar Ali, accused of being involved in a false and harassing case in Baralekha, Moulvibazar, has demanded acquittal and justice. He made the demand at a press conference at the Baralekha Press Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Sonahar Ali, a resident of Gholsa village in Dakshin Shahbazpur union of the upazila, was also present at the press conference.
In a written statement, Sonahar Ali said that his family has been in a long-standing dispute with Abdus Salam, a resident of the same area. As a result, their family is being harassed in various ways. He said that the latest CR case number 686/2025 has been filed against them.
Sonahar Ali claims that in that case, his family members have been accused of stealing and cutting down trees on their own land and selling them. However, he claims that this accusation is completely false and baseless. The accused in the case have sold the trees they planted within the boundaries of their own land. There has been no incident of cutting down or stealing trees by entering other people's land. He demanded that the ownership of the land, boundaries and ownership of the trees be verified on the spot in this regard.
Sonahar Ali also alleged that attempts are being made to influence the investigation of the case. He said that it is necessary to find out the real facts through an impartial investigation without pressure or influence from any party. There have been several cases in the past centered on the same dispute. Reviewing the documents and court verdicts of these cases will give an idea about the real cause of the dispute and the course of events. He demanded that the documents and court verdicts of the previous cases also be reviewed.
Sonahar Ali and her family members called on the administration, law enforcement agencies, and relevant authorities to impartially investigate the matter.
