A madrasa superintendent has been accused of embezzling huge amount of money by cheating with fake appointment letter.

The helpless young man, who sold his ancestral land and gave it for a job, is living an inhumane life by working as a garment worker in order to earn a living. He is living an inhumane life with his family without getting any remedy by applying in different places for getting a job or payment. The incident took place at Panch village M Haque Balika Dakhil Madrasa located in Raniganj Union under Chilmari Upazila of Kurigram.

According to the complaint given by the victim, it is known that the superintendent of Panchgram M Haque Balika Dakhil Madrasa located in Panchgram area of the upazilaAbdul Monayem (Baten) lured Abdus Salam, son of Noor Islam of Kharuarpar area, to give him a job in a madrasa and extorted 11 lakh 30 thousand from him at different times. Later, they have been making excuses for a long time after completing the recruitment and joining based on the application by showing the fake advertisement given in the newspaperAbdus Salam is living an inhumane life by working as a garment worker in Dhaka for a low salary with his family in order to make a living.

The victim Abdus Salam said that Super Abdul Monayem Baten showed an advertisement in a newspaper on March 24, 2019 and applied for the post of office assistant cum account assistant and then assistant teacher (business education). At that time, he took a total of 11 lakh 30 thousand rupees from me and my father on various pretexts. Later, he gave me the appointment letter for the post of assistant teacher (business) on April 22, 2015, showing the previous date (back date). According to the appointment letter, I joined the madrasa on the 30th of the same month. After joining, the superintendent forbade me to come to the madrasa until my name was mentioned in the MPO. As he said, opening bank account and completing other tasks and sending documents to Banbase for MPO payment, the super told me that everything will be done online, you don't have to do anythingAfter waiting for a long time in anticipation of MPO admission, as the MPO was not admitted, I contacted different places and found out that the Superintendent had given the appointment letter as Santana by showing the fake recruitment circular. When the matter was reported to the Superintendent and he asked for the refund of the money he gave, he kept making excuses. He said that I complained to various offices including Raniganj UP Chairman and Upazila Parishad Chairman to recover the money I paid, but I did not get any remedy.

Abdus Salam's father, Md Noor Islam Sarkar, said to reporters in a tearful voice, "I am a poor man, father." I sold the crop land that I had as my last asset and gave it to my son to work. I am living an inhumane life with my family due to the loss of only one agricultural land.

If you want to know about taking a large amount of money in the name of giving a job, the Superintendent of Panchgram M Haque Balika Dakhil Madrasa MdAbdul Monayem Baten said that he will discuss the matter with him. I also wanted to give job, he is complaining in different places. Let him do what he can to me.

In this regard, Raniganj UP Chairman Md. Manjurul Islam Manju said that Super Abdul Monayem has stolen a large amount of money by falsely appointing the victim Abdus SalamSalam complained to the village court as he could not collect the money despite trying various ways. Despite repeated notices (three times) issued to the Superintendent for arbitration based on his complaint, he was not found in the village court. We have filed the necessary report for contempt of court.
