Madrasa student rescued after 4 days of abduction in Chatmohar

Madrasa student was rescued by RAB after 4 days of abduction in Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna.
He was rescued from Baral Bridge area of Bhangura upazila on Saturday (November 2) around 8 pm. RAB said that the abductors ran away. This information was given in the press briefing at the Pabna RAB office on Sunday morning.
It is said in the press briefing that Ramzan Ali (13), son of Akmal Hossain of Charaikol area of Chatmohar upazila, was kidnapped on his way to his grandmother's house in Atgharia on October 30. Later that night, the abductors demanded a ransom of 60,000 taka in a phone call from Ramzan's mother. They also threatened to kill the boy if he did not pay. In this incident, the mother of the abductee, Maina Khatun, filed a written complaint at the Chatmohar police station. Then last Saturday (November 2) the abducted person was rescued from Baral Bridge area of Bhangura.
In this regard, RAB Company Commander Mohammad Ilyas Khan said, a team of RAB Pabna and Bogra was working to rescue the abducted from the beginning. Ramzan was rescued by a raid in the Baral Bridge area based on tip-off, but the abductors escaped. RAB is working to arrest them. Will be arrested soon.
