M'singh, Cumilla city corporations polls on Mar 9

Mymensingh city corporation elections will be held on March 9.
Meanwhile, by-election to mayoral post of Cumilla city corporation will be held on the same day.
Election Commissioner Anisur Rahman confirmed the decision to media on Monday at Agargaon's Election Bhaban.
The voting will be held through electronics voting machine (EVM) from 8am to 4pm without any break.
Mymensingh City Corporation elections was held on May 5, 2019. Although the mayor was elected unopposed in that election. The ealection was held in councilor posts. Mymensingh city has 33 general wards and 11 reserved wards.
Cumilla City Corporation mayoral post has been lying vacant since December 13, last, due to the death of the mayor. So, by-elections is mandatory in the city by March 11.
