Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices would fall by Tk3.34 per kilogram from Wednesday evening, in keeping with declining global rates.
The 12-kg LPG cylinders, commonly used for household cooking, would now cost Tk1,442, down by Tk40 from Tk1,1482 recorded in February.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission announced the reduced rates at a press briefing earlier on Tuesday. The state-energy regulator has been setting new prices every month since April 2021.
As per the new rate, private supplies would cost Tk120.18 per kilogram down from Tk123.52 per kilogram in March.
The prices of all sizes of LPG cylinders, from 5.5-kg to 45 kg, would be set accordingly.
