Low pressure on Bay : Drizzling on coast, warning signal No.3 in Payra Port
Soumitra Suman, Payra Port (Patuakhali)
The low pressure over the west-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is moving northward and staying in the same area. As a result of this, it is drizzling in Patuakhali since morning. With the winter, the rain has come to a standstill in public life. The sky is overcast.
The Bay of Bengal adjacent to Kuakata is slightly rough. Last midnight, the depression was located 830 km from Payra sea port, 435 km from Mongla sea port, 905 km from Cox's Bazar sea port and 955 km from Chittagong sea port.
Gusty winds may blow over coastal areas under the influence of low pressure. Therefore, all sea ports including Pyara have been asked to show local warning signal number 03. All fishing trawlers are asked to stay safe.
