Leaderless BNP seeking leadership of country : Shameem
Shariatpur Correspondent
Deputy Minister of Water Resources and former organizing secretary of Awami League AKM Enamul Haque Shameem MP said that BNP's problem lies with its own leadership.
Both Khaleda Zia and Tariq Rahman are convicted defendants. Khaleda Zia is able to stay at home due to the magnanimity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. And Tariq Rahman is absconding abroad. It is ridiculous that the leaderless BNP wants to lead the country.
He said this while inaugurating various developmental activities in Shariatpur's Naria on Tuesday as the chief guest.
Deputy Minister Shamim also said that BNP, the carrier of authoritarian ideology and terror and the main sponsor of radical sectarianism and militancy, is always afraid of the path of democracy. Their politics is to seize power through any means of intrigue and intrigue and terror.
He also said that because the so-called movement of BNP has failed, they are now delirious. BNP leaders are disillusioned by not getting the expected response from foreign masters and being repeatedly rejected by the people. BNP speaks one word at a time.
The deputy minister said, by killing democracy, constitution, rule of law, electoral system, now they are revealing themselves as democrats, which is ridiculous. During the regime of military dictatorship Ziaur Rahman and his successor Khaleda Zia, only war criminals and pro-Pakistanists were able to do politics in the country. Terrorism and militancy were rampant during their time.
Stating that the ideals and progressive spirit of the Great Liberation War were exiled, Deputy Minister Enamul Haque Shamim said that 24 thousand Awami League leaders and activists were killed after BNP seized power in 2001 through a conspiracy. On August 21, 2004, 22 leaders and activists were killed by an infernal grenade attack on the 'anti-terrorist peace rally' with the intention of killing the national leaders of Awami League including People's Leader Sheikh Hasina.
The former organizing secretary of Awami League said that there is no guilt in BNP for their actions. They still sing safi for those attackers. Another 15th August threatens to create. A party that does not believe in democracy, does not hold democratic norms and culture, what democracy will they give to the people of the country?
Shameem said, due to the philanthropic, benevolent and efficient leadership of the successful statesman Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is moving forward in an unprecedented development-progress and prosperity journey in the last one and a half decades. Bangladesh has been promoted to the status of a developing country. Now being considered as a role model for development. In view of which Bangladesh has been established as a self-respecting state in the General Assembly. Therefore, in the next election, People's Leader Sheikh Hasina will come to power again.
