Law, order committee meeting held in Rangamati

District Law and Order Committee meeting was held in Rangamati. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan presided over the meeting in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner at 11 am on Sunday.

In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that Rangamati city will be brought under CCTV soon. Apart from this, the issue of power outage in Rangamati district will be discussed with the higher authorities. He said, it is a pity that the people of Rangamati district do not get electricity where electricity is produced in Rangamati district.

In the meeting, the speakers requested to take effective steps to provide speed bakers at the dangerous places of the road and, to solve the traffic congestion problem of Banrupa market. Apart from this, the speakers expressed their displeasure that the environment and the beauty of the city are being destroyed due to the cleanliness of the city due to the fact that the municipality does not clean the city regularly.

In the district law and order meeting, Superintendent of Police Mir Abu Tauhid, Additional District Magistrate Zobaida Akhtar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuyen Khisa, Executive Engineer Sabuj Chakma of Roads and Highways Department, Deputy Director of District Population Directorate Md Noor Uz Zaman, Deputy Director of District Social Services Directorate Omar Farooq, Representatives of various institutions of Rangamati district and members of law and order committee were present in the meeting along with Executive Engineer Parag Barua of Directorate of Public Health.

Law and order issues in Rangamati district were discussed in detail in the meeting.
