Landless and homeless free upazila declared in Rangpur

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday inaugurated the transfer of land and houses to 18 thousand 566 landless and homeless families in 464 upazilas of 58 districts of the country including Gangachra in Rangpur.
At the same time, she declared ‘Gangachara’ upazila of Rangpur district landless and homeless free.
After the virtual inauguration of the Prime Minister, the Gangachara Upazila Parishad Multipurpose Hall handed over the certificates, acceptance documents and name declaration copies to 100 landless and homeless families of the upazila.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Rezaul Karim was the chief guest at the ceremony. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nahid Tamanna presided over the event.
