A two -day art exhibition tittlled 'The Art of Democracy, Unity - A Journey of Unity has began at the Art Gallery at 4 pm on Friday.

The art exhibition was inaugurated by the Interim Government's Relief and Disaster Adviser Farooq E Azam and Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain.

"After the inauguration of the exhibition, the guests and visitors visited the art gallery second and third floors.

Farooq E Azam said that the enthusiasm of the youth of the July Revolution should be fulfilled. Meanwhile, the government is standing beside the families of the victims in the July mass coup. The interim government has taken charge of the injured. Many are being treated abroad. The July murder trial should be quick. We are optimistic. No more discrimination can be made. The whole state has to be brought back to a healthy stream.

"The mass uprising on July was a struggle for establishing a equitable society, where young people took to the streets against autocratic repression and demanded restoration of democracy." '

Dr. Shahadat Hossain, the mayor of Chittagong City Corporation got up on the stage and presented the forever effort to forget the history from the state power.

He said, 12 'Language Movement, the War of Liberation of 9; All struggles are against discrimination. Although the July revolution was created by the anti -discrimination student movement, it was a human fight against the power. And the history of that revolution will now continue to fight the memory against the wonder. Victory cannot be allowed against this dictatorship in any way. This movement to restore democracy has united us, and we will maintain this unity. He has opted to keep the memory of Bloody July against any possible unjust and authoritarian system in Bangladesh after the coup.

Talking to the organizers, it is learned that in the preservation of the history of the anti -student movement, the creation of international quality visual films, publishing photographic archive books and magazines, the creation of information -based web sites has been accepted as part of the creation of an illustrated archive across the country. The history -based documentary of the July Revolution is being produced on the basis of contract with the international streaming organization 'Netflix'.

Project Director Minhaj Uddin said, "Bloody July -August is a bunch of memories and history of mass uprising, the art of democracy, unity - a journey of unity." Throughout the year, there are painting exhibitions, documentaries, archive books, database websites on various campuses. '

The Art of Democracy, Unity - A Journey of Unity Project Advisor Waheed Zaman said, "Documentary book, archive book, magazine has been published to spread the history of the July revolution and convey the message of unity against future generations to future generations." Basically, the entire project has been inaugurated today through the exhibition of various events of the July Revolution. '

Al Mahmud bin Shamsuddin, Minhaj Uddin, Iffat Firuz Ifa, Sumaiya Khanam highlighted the entire project to preserve the history of the anti -student movement history in the first phase of the present -day anti -student movement.

Students of the anti -discrimination movement participating in the mass uprising on July 2024 were also present on the occasion. The exhibition discusses the pictures of various important moments of the mass uprising, the memory of the agitators and the future movements. The exhibition will last two days on Friday and Saturday
