Jubo Dal ex-president among 34 jailed in sabotgae cases

Fourteen leaders and activists of BNP, including Jubo Dal former president Saiful Alam Nirob, were jailed on Thursday for two and a half years in a sabotage case filed with Tejgaon Police Station.
Meanwhile, 20 BNP men were jailed for one year and nine months under two separate sections in another case filed with Banani Police Station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain pronounced the judgement today.
Of the two cases, one was filed with Tejgaon police station in 2013, while the other one was in 2018 with Banani.
Later, the chargesheet of the cases were submitted by police against the accused.
