
Jubo Dal's expelled leader arrested in Hatibandha police station siege case

In the case of besieging Hatibandha Police Station and obstructing government work, Hatibandha police have arrested an expelled leader of the Jubo Dal named Yunus Ali Lavlu.
On Saturday afternoon, he was arrested by police from the Amtala Bus Stand area of the upazila.
It has been reported that on July 2nd, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Patgram sentenced two individuals through a mobile court.
In that incident, miscreants attacked the police station to snatch away the arrested individuals. At that time, when assistance from neighboring police stations was sought to bring the situation under control, the miscreants besieged Hatibandha Police Station and obstructed government work.
Based on video footage, a list of suspects involved in that incident was prepared, and on July 3rd, the police filed a case. As a result of that case, Hatibandha police have already arrested about 15 accused individuals.
As part of the ongoing investigation of the case, the second accused in the case, Yunus Ali Lavlu, has been arrested and sent to jail through the court, said Hatibandha Police Station OC Mahmudun Nabi.
