Journalist leader Ruhul Amin Ghazi is no more

Senior member of National Press Club, President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Special Correspondent of Dainik Sangram, Ruhul Amin Ghazi is no more.
He passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital on Tuesday night (Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeun).
He was suffering from various diseases including kidney and liver complications for a long time. He was 68 years old. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son and numerous relatives, colleagues and well-wishers.
He was buried in the family graveyard of Chandpur village after prayers at the National Press Club today.
Late Ruhul Amin Ghazi was born on 12th November 1956 in Govindia, Chandpur Sadar. He has been leading journalists from the United Union of Professional Journalists. As a self-sacrificing, outspoken, uncompromising leader, he was very popular with journalists at all levels.
National Press Club President Hasan Hafeez and General Secretary Ayub Bhuiyan have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Ruhul Amin Ghazi.
In a statement, the leaders prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and extended their deepest condolences to his bereaved family members.
