
Jamaat submits memo to CA thru' DC in Natore

As part of the central program in Natore , Jamaat-e-Islami Natore District submitted a memorandum to the Chief Advisor through the Deputy Commissioner with a 5-point demand, including the issuance of the Peer System and July Charter orders and holding national elections in February based on the July Charter.
On Sunday at 9:30 am, a march initiated by the district Jamaat started from Bhabaniganj intersection (July Memorial) in the city and met for a short rally in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office.
The rally was addressed by Central Majlish-e-Shura member and District Jamaat Ameer Professor Dr. Mir Nurul Islam, District Naye-e-Ameer and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Natore Sadar constituency Professor Md. Yunus Ali, District Secretary Professor Sadequr Rahman, District Working Committee member and Jamaat-nominated MP candidate from Singra-3 constituency Professor Saidur Rahman, District Assistant Publicity Secretary Atiqul Islam Russell, Sadar Upazila Ameer Professor Mir Nurun Nabi, and City Ameer Rashedul Islam.
The speakers said that the July Charter should be implemented and issued before the national elections in February, and a referendum should be held.
The peer system should be implemented in both houses of the national elections, a level playing field should be ensured for all in free, fair and acceptable elections.
After the rally, the district Jamaat leaders submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen along with their demands and requests to the Chief Advisor.
