Buiyapur (Tangail) Correspondent 

The biennial conference of the Islamic Movement Bangladesh Bhuiyapur Upazila branch was held in Bhuiyapur, Tangail, with the theme "We want a change in policy, not just a leader."

The conference was held on the second floor of the Friends Community Center in the municipal area on Wednesday   morning.

The event was presided over by Moazzem Hossain, President of the Islamic Movement Bhuiyapur branch, and the General Secretary of the Islamic Movement Tangail District Branch, Md. Akhinur Mia, was the chief guest. Maulana Rezaul Karim, member of the Islamic Movement Tangail District Branch, Mufti Asaduzzaman Shamim, Mufti Fazle Rabbi, National Ulama Masayekh Aimma Bhuiyapur Upazila Branch President Mufti Shahidul Islam Bhuiyapuri, and Hafez Maulana Monowar Hossain was the moderator.

The speakers said, "Our goal is to eradicate all levels of usury, bribery, terrorism, corruption, murder, rape, theft, robbery, and other social evils and form a society through mass revolution."  On the other hand, to free this nation from the curse of poverty, its best and correct use, creation of extensive employment, development of domestic industry, the most important contribution of the agricultural revolution, as well as the overthrow of the interest-based social system and the implementation of the principles of zakat and halal business, and to try to build a self-reliant harmonious nation.

Later, 17 Sura members of each union and municipality were elected as the president and general secretary through direct voting. In this, Mufti Asaduzzaman Shamim was elected as the president and Hafez Maulana Monowar Hossain was elected as the general secretary
