The introduction and exchange meeting of newly -joined BSCIC Chairman Sanjay Kumar Bhowmik (Grade-1) held on Sunday.

At the beginning of the program, the Chairman was welcomed with flowers on behalf of the BSCIC family by the Regional Director of BSCIC, Dhaka. Later, the overall activities of BCIC were given a brief presentation by the Head of BCIC ICT Cell.

Speaking on the occasion, BSCIC Chairman Md. Kamal Uddin Biswas, Director (Finance), BSIC, Regional Director, BSCIC, Dhaka, Principal, BSIC Training Institute (BTI), Dhaka; Sarwar Hossain, Head of Salt Cell, BSIC; Hafizur Rahman, Deputy Manager (Planning & Research) Division, BSCIC; GM Rabbani Talukder, General Secretary, BSIC Officers Association; Dr. Farhad Ahmed, Principal Faculty Member, BTI, Dhaka; Akhil Ranjan Tarafdar, General Manager (Marketing) and President, BSIC Officers' Association and Md. Amir Hossain, President, BSCIC Workers' Union.

Through the speech, the speakers basically raised the demands of contemporary revision of the current organogram of BSIC, creation of opportunity to get regular promotion, taking necessary measures to introduce pension, change of designation, arrangement of home loan for BCIC officers, expansion of BSCIC leather industry, development of BSIC industrial cities and so on.

The BSCIC Board of Directors agreed to the above demands and expressed optimism about meeting the demands.

Bisik chairman said that it is a privilege for him to be a part of the institution built by the father of the nation. He promised to fulfill all the reasonable demands of the BSCIC officers and employees. Bisik said that being able to do something for the family is an absolute achievement for him. He further said that I myself am uncompromising in integrity so I expect integrity in all those working in BC. He concluded his speech by saying that if there is unity, then all the impossible can be achieved.

The meeting was attended by directors of BSCIC; Regional Director, BSIC, Dhaka; Principal, BSCIC Training Institute (BTI), Dhaka; General Manager (All) BSIC, Dhaka; Head of all Divisions/Branch (including all officers and employees under him) Chief Designer, Design Centre, BSCIC, Dhaka; Deputy General Manager (Equipment), BSIC, Dhaka; Deputy General Manager, Bisik District Office, Dhaka; Head of ICT Cell, BSCIC, Dhaka Private Secretary to Chairman, BSCIC, Dhaka.

The programme was moderated by Tarana Jahan Tania, Deputy Manager (Materials), BSCIC and Sheikh Ali Ashraf Farooq, Designer, Design Centre, BSCIC.
