I want to work as servant of people of Satkhira, regardless of party, opinion: MP Muhaddis Abdul Khalek

Satkhira-2 MP Muhaddis Abdul Khalek has expressed his determination to rise above party affiliation and work alongside people of all classes and professions in Satkhira. He said, 'I do not think that I am an elected MP of a party. I want to work alongside everyone, all the people, the poor and the suffering people. Not as a leader or a guest, but as a member of your household and a servant.'
He made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the "Daily Satkhira Khabor" newspaper with the slogan 'Forward in Propagating Truth' at the Padma Hall of the Satkhira Lake View Tufan Convention Center on Wednesday.
The MP said, everyone's advice, cooperation and proximity are needed to advance the development of Satkhira. Referring to the presence of BNP and Jamaat leaders together, he said.
Regarding the long-standing demand of Satkhira for the expansion of the railway line, Muhaddis Abdul Khalek said that he spoke in the National Parliament for three days about the implementation of the railway line in Satkhira and gave notice.
At the inauguration ceremony of the Daily Satkhira Khabar, the MP further said that the responsibility of a newspaper is not limited to publishing news;
The event was chaired by the editor of the newspaper, Mir Abu Bakkar, and the keynote speakers were Satkhira District Council Administrator Habibur Islam Habib, Satkhira Government College Principal Abul Hashem, Satkhira Government Women's College Principal Basudeb Basu, District Information Officer Md. Jaharul Islam Tutul, and former Alipur Union Chairman Alhaj Abdur Rouf.
