A 3-day -day agricultural development fair organized by Goalando Upazila Agriculture Office of Rajbari, the agricultural products produced in 9 stalls were exhibited and the farmer of Goalando, who received the award in agriculture, became the best among the upazilas for his special contribution to agriculture.

Humayun Ahmed is the owner of Addeen Krishi Bhandar established in Gowaland Bazar and a resident of Torap Seker Para village of Daulatdia UP Upazila.

Humayun Ahmed said, he has recently received the best farmer certificate and memento of Rajbari district and upazila in agriculture. He said that he was selected as the best farmer in the upazila in the three-day agricultural fair due to the production of new crops and his special contribution to agriculture.

Humayun Ahmed Kandal produces various crops including pani kachu, tree potato, pani kachu bari-5, gulakchu, bitter gourd, chichinga, cucumber, paddy, maize. At the three-day agricultural fair, he received the best farmer certificate from the chief guest of the ceremony, Alhaj Kazi Keramat Ali, Member of Parliament of Rajbari-1 Constituency.

Goalando Upazila Agriculture Officer. Khokon Uzzaman said, Humayun is a modern farmer in Goalando upazila. He grows a variety of vegetables and crops throughout the year. We always give him full support from the Upazila Agriculture Office. He was awarded the best award at the three-day agricultural fair in Goaland.

It should be noted that last Monday (June 3) at 11 o'clock, a three-day agricultural fair was organized by the upazila agriculture office at Goalando upazila square.
