A human chain was formed at Bhuapur of Tangail under the initiative of Kishore Gang Prevention Committee on Thursday morning.

The human chain program was organized at the pond of Bhuyapur Government Pilot High School by the initiative of Upazila Kishore Gang Prevention Committee. At the end of the human chain, the organizers gave a memorandum to the District Commissioner through the Upazila Nirbahi Officer. Bhuyapur Government Pilot High School, Prabhati Kindergarten, Rosebud Kindergarten, Morning Sun Kindergarten, Fariduzzaman Pre-Cadet, Sanko Kindergarten, Aminul Islam Ideal Public School, Asaduzzaman Khan Hafizia Madrasa and various dignitaries from the vicinity were present in the human chain.

Speakers in the human chain said that the people of Bhuyapur have become fed up with the torture of juvenile gangs for a long time. This pond of the school is the focal point of the youth gang hangout. The youth gang members are involved in various misdemeanors including eve-teasing of students, taking tiffin money of students, robbing women's bags. The administration and law enforcement agencies demanded to take quick and effective action against youth gangs.

Anwar Hossain Talukder Professor Ibrahim Kha Government College, Kinder Association President Khairuzzaman Bhuiyan, freedom fighter Ashraf Ali Talukder, Bhuyapur Government Pilot High School Principal Mohiuddin, Abdul Karim Khan, Upazila Anti Corruption Committee Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Journalist Asadul Islam Babul, Farman Sheikh, Hasan Sarwar Lovelu, Secretary of the Sammilita Sanstik Jot, Shahjahan Kabir Liton, President of Bhuyapur Bazar Merchants Association, Golam Kibria Mukul, President of Kishore Gang Prevention Committee and others were present.
