Huge weapons, bullets recovered extremist member arrested in Rajbari

An extremist terrorist, including a large number of weapons and ammunition, was arrested in a joint force operation on the Padma river in Rajbari on Friday.

The arrested accused Md. Farooq Hossain (5). He is the son of Akkas Ali Sheikh of Char Afra village of Habaspur union of Pansha upazila of Rajbari. There are cases against him in various police stations including murder, robbery, extortion, weapons.

During the raid, two one -shooter songs from two cement sacks near the accused, 1 native wooden pipegun, 3 wooden butt -colored airguns, one uninterrupted green -colored cocktail similarity, one ramda, 3 fresh cartridges, 3 iron salo machine handles, 3 wooden dugger and 1 Itel button phone have been recovered.

The naval police said at a press release on Friday (February 8th) at around 8am that the police inspector Enamul Haque, the police inspector of the Daulatdia Naval Police outpost, was on the Padma river at around 8am on Thursday. At that time, information came from the Pangsha Police Station to the house of Akhter Sheikh of East Char Afra village of Habaspur union under Pansha police station, with some illegal terrorists in the Padma police station on the Padma police station to perform terrorist activities in the Pansha police station. From there, the Officer -in -Charge of Pangsha Police Station, Pangsha Temporary Army Camp Captain Ashikur Rahman Prince and Sergeant Tofazzal Hossain and their associate force conducted a joint force operation.

At that time, when the presence of the police and the army, he jumped from a terrorist engine -powered boat and arrested him with the help of the accompanying officer forces and seized the above weapons and ammunition. The trawler used by the terrorists was also seized.

In this regard, the in-charge of the Daulatdia Naval Police Inspector Enamul Haque said that the arrested accused was sent to the Rajbari court on Friday seeking a 3-day remand.
