Attack in Gazipur: Anti-discrimination student movement to hold protest Saturday

The anti-discrimination student movement will hold a protest rally at Rajbari Field in Gazipur Sadar upazila on Saturday afternoon.
The central leaders of the platform are expected to attend the event at 1:30pm.
Around 4:00am today, the anti-discrimination student movement announced this programme through a post on its Facebook page.
In the post, the organisation said, "A massive protest rally will be held today (Saturday) in protest against the attack by Awami terrorists from the Mozammel-Jahangir group on the organisers of the anti-discrimination student movement in Gazipur."
"The rally will be attended by students and people from across the country, along with central leaders," the post said.
Around 9:00pm yesterday, a group of people attacked the residence of former liberation war affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque in Gazipur. During the attack, some locals physically assaulted them, injuring at least 15 people.
Doctors said that the condition of three of the injured is critical.
