Huge amount of polythene seized in Lalmohan, fined

A large quantity of illegal polythene was seized in a raid at a mobile court in Bhola's Lalmohan.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Imran Mahmud Dalim conducted the mobile court at Ward No. 6 Launchghat of the municipality on Thursday afternoon.
Around 200 kg of environment-destroying polythene was seized during transportation and the mobile court fined Md. Iqbal, the owner of Rakib Store, the businessman of Lalmohan Bazar, Rs. Later these polythene were set on fire and destroyed in the abandoned field of Ward No. 9 of the municipality.
