Homeo doctor hacked to death, killer's house set on fire in Gafargaon

A young man named Rubel Mia (35) hacked to death a homeo doctor named Harun Or Rashid in Gafargaon, Mymensingh in his own business establishment.
The incident took place at Goeshpur Bazar of Pythal Union under Pagla Police Station of Upazila at around 12:30 PM on Monday (January 15).
Excited by the incident, the mob set fire to the murderer Rubel's house. Later, Pagla police fired 4 blank rounds to control the situation.
The deceased Haroon Or Rashid is the son of deceased Khurshed Alam of Goalbar village of that union. He has a house in Goeshpur Bazar. There he was providing homeo treatment services for a long time in a business called Feroza Homeo Hall. The murderer Rubel is the son of Shahab Uddin of Neoka village of the same union.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pagla Police Station Mohammad Khairul Basha confirmed the fact and said that the murderer Rubel and his mother have been arrested and kept in police custody.
